Nobitex Hacked for $73M – ZachXBT Uncovers Shocking Crypto Trail

Iran’s largest crypto exchange, Nobitex, has confirmed a major security breach leading to a loss of approximately $73 million in user funds. In an official statement published earlier today, the platform acknowledged unauthorized access to its infrastructure, affecting hot wallet systems.

The exchange immediately halted all transactions following detection and assured that cold storage assets remain unaffected. Nobitex has also pledged full compensation for the losses via internal reserves and insurance mechanisms, stating that a detailed incident report will follow.

The on-chain sleuth ZachXBT was quick to trace the movement of the stolen funds. According to public records on Tronscan, over $49 million in USDT was identified in a suspicious wallet linked to the exploit

The wallet’s name — provocatively titled to mock the platform — holds more than 23,000 TRX and $49.4M in Tether.

While investigations are ongoing, access to the Nobitex platform remains suspended.
