iAero Protocol Launches Token Sweeper and Begins Six-Month LIQ Rewards Campaign

iAero Protocol has announced the launch of Token Sweeper alongside the introduction of Season 1, a six-month rewards program that will distribute 5% of the LIQ token supply to participants who stake iAERO.

The protocol, based on Base, offers liquid staking for users who hold AERO or veAERO and want to retain liquidity without missing out on Aerodrome voting rewards.

How the Liquid Staking Model Works

Traditional vote-escrowed systems require long lockups for users to access yield.

iAero Protocol instead gives depositors liquid iAERO tokens, enabling them to maintain exposure to rewards while staying free to unstake whenever they choose.

The protocol says it distributes 88% of revenue to iAERO and LIQ stakers.

These revenues come from Aerodrome voting rewards, bribes, and fees from trading activity.

Current staking returns are around 35% APR, which the platform states is generated directly from protocol revenue streams rather than inflationary emissions.

Token Sweeper Offers Consolidation Tools Across Networks

The new Token Sweeper application aims to solve the issue of fragmented assets across user wallets.

It lets users batch-swap several different tokens into either USDC or WETH through a single transaction.

Token routing can pass through more than 100 decentralized exchanges as the tool aggregates liquidity to optimize execution.

Users can also automatically filter out unwanted spam tokens via blocklists maintained by the protocol.

A preview option lets users simulate transactions before finalizing them, helping reduce execution errors.

Token Sweeper currently functions across nine blockchains: Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Scroll, and Linea.

The service charges a protocol fee of 0.05%.

Season 1 Introduces a Rewards Leaderboard

Season 1, which runs for six months, allows participants to accumulate points based on the amount of iAERO they stake.

One point is granted per iAERO staked each day.

At the end of the campaign, 5% of the LIQ token’s fully diluted supply will be distributed to participants according to their points.

A publicly accessible leaderboard will track user rankings, and new stakers can join at any time during the program.

The reward system is designed to encourage long-term staking while still remaining inclusive for new entrants.

Behind the Protocol Architecture

iAero aggregates user deposits into a large, collectively managed veAERO position on Aerodrome, the primary decentralized exchange on Base.

This structure enables smaller token holders to access returns typically available only to large veAERO participants, who historically dominate voting power and yield.

Base, which is developed by Coinbase, has become a major ecosystem within the Layer 2 landscape.

Aerodrome continues to attract high daily trading volume, generating consistent fee revenue for vote-escrowed holders.

By converting these yields into liquid staking returns through iAero, the protocol aims to provide accessible yield opportunities to a broader user base.

iAero Protocol is available at its main platform, while Token Sweeper and documentation remain openly accessible to users.
